Beaches
Norfolk beaches are one of the main reasons we love where we live and are something you can’t visit without experiencing!
We are so fortunate to have so much beautifully untouched coastline on our doorstep.
Wells, Brancaster, Holme and Holkham, are to name but a few of our favourites. All of which offer their own history, tranquillity and beauty.
Birdwatching
It is said that Norfolk may well be the bird watching paradise of Britain. With its award-worthy nature reserves, it really is the place of dreams for birdwatching all year round.
Within its vast range of bird life, Norfolk is home to speciality birds such as the marsh harrier and bittern and stone curlews, as well as more commonly recognised birds like kingfishers and geese.
Norfolk is also often blessed with visits from ghostly barn owls; once voted Britain’s favourite farmland bird.
We always consider ourselves incredibly lucky when in the presence of such a beautifully graceful bird, and know that you will too!
