Our shepherd’s huts are comfortably spread across private land, with a resident warden for your piece of mind.
At Range Farm we offer a variety of huts accommodating between 2 & 6 people (please see below for further details).
Our site is accessible to all, with one of our huts specifically designed to facilitate wheel chair use.
Although built to respect the original huts of the 1800’s, we have exclusively added our own modern touches to all 12 huts. Each interior is uniquely designed and furnished, offering all the creature comforts you crave!

Our huts equip you with the luxury of electricity, lighting, fridges and kettles, while encouraging the magic that is to be found in traditional outdoor cooking.
We offer a communal barbeque area and welcome you to bring your own camping cookware; allowing you to embrace this invaluable aspect of camp life!
We proudly boast a log burning stove in each hut, adding warmth, luxury and the ability to visit all year round.
So while you spend your days being free in the great outdoors, the option to spend your evenings cosied up is always on offer.

What is provided in the shepherds huts...
- Traditional handcrafted double and single beds
- Luxury memory foam mattresses
- Cast iron wood burner for chillier evenings, complementary basket of logs on arrival. (Additional bags can be purchased on site)
- Each shepherds hut is provided with electrical sockets/USB charging point, lights, fridge with freezer compartment. A heater for extra warmness.
- 4G available on most networks
- Tea and coffee making facilities with extra compliments
- Outdoor table and chairs with individual fire pits for a traditional experience
